PMQs: Why are MPs wearing black and yellow badges?

MPs were seen in Parliament today wearing black and yellow badges during Prime Minister’s Questions.

Rishi Sunak faced questions over the resignation of Gavin Williamson while Ian Blackford called for Alister Jack’s sacking as the Scottish Secretary is in line for a peerage.

What are the badges for?

The badge is in support of LABRATS which represents nuclear veterans, atomic veterans, scientists, civilians, and their families across the world who have been affected by nuclear testing.

SNP Support

SNP MP Carol Monaghan previously wrote to Boris Johnson when he was still prime minister urging him to award medals and financial compensation to Christmas Island veterans.
