There are USB-C charging docks and there are hardcore, melt-your-mind, tech-nerd-appropriate USB-C charging docks. Perhaps you think you already own one… I bet it has a bunch of ports, maybe three, five, or even seven.
However, I’d also wager that it doesn’t have ten, yes, ten fully-powered USB-C ports to juice up all your finest tech. Do you know what does? The new Plugable PS-10CC formally debuted at CES 2025.
For less than $100, the rather long PS-10CC is available for preorder now and optimized for fast, intelligent power allocation for all your chargeable devices. More importantly, from my initial usage, it’s a total lifesaver for geeks with far too much gear.
I tested out the new Plugable PS-10CC while covering CES 2025, the largest nerd fest around, using it to power up all my journalistic goodies, from cameras to laptops to wearables while I snoozed soundly in the desert. Read on for my full hands-on impressions.
Plugable PS-10CC hands-on: smart charging
With priority given to the left-most charging port, the Plugable PS-10C uses smart sensing to identify how much electricity a device is truly pulling. Anything left over is sent to the next device(s) in line when possible.
For my purposes, I plugged in no fewer than three smart wearables, a pair of Bose headphones, a DJI action camera, a MacBook Air Pro, an iPhone and other gadgets to charge overnight in between jam-packed days on the show floor. When I awoke, without fail, all my devices were 100% juiced up and ready to roll… even if I wasn’t quite.
Plugable PS-10CC hands-on: sleek and oh-so-long
The Plugable PS-10CC is a long boy, there’s no doubt about it. The build quality is impressive, though, thanks to a metal exterior and just enough heft to reassure you. This isn’t some cheap plasticky affair. Plus, thick rubber non-slip strips on the bottom guarantee that it sits securely in place at your workstation.
Plugable PS-10CC hands-on: 100W of power, baby
For power, input USB-C power connects to the left end of the peripheral nearest to the priority charging port. Conveniently, each USB-C port sports a blue LED to the right that illuminates or flashes only when actively drawing power.
Capable of providing a maximum of 100 watts of power at any given time, the PS-10CC can comfortably handle even the most electric-hungry laptop and tech products.

Who knew USB-C charging could be so sexy? In 2025, anything’s possible! With a successful Kickstarter campaign under the belt, Plugable has the PS-10CC ready for preorder now for $99.95.
Though I’m still getting acquainted with the Plugable PS-10CC, it’s easily one of my favorite new products of CES 2025 because it solves a real need: saving me from having to travel with a zillion charger cubes. It also doesn’t break the bank. Stay tuned for a full review and additional testing.
