Plot Newcastle's path to the Champions League as top-four race looks set for dramatic finale

Newcastle United remain in control of their own destiny when it comes to capping off a memorable campaign with qualification for the Champions League. The Magpies retain a three-point cushion over nearest rivals Tottenham despite a heavy defeat to Aston Villa in their last outing.

Eddie Howe's side have built upon the momentum from last season and have lost just four times in the Premier League so far, with a first domestic cup final appearance in more than two decades to boot. However, with eight matches remaining in their season, the head coach will be stressing there is still plenty of work to be done, starting with a home clash against Tottenham on Sunday.

The Magpies will also host league leaders Arsenal, top-four rivals Brighton, and relegation battlers Leicester City and Southampton before the end of the season. Howe's side conclude the campaign with a final-day visit to Chelsea, where they will be hoping to complete an unbeaten sweep of away days in the capital this season.
