Plea to Shankill community to find 'high risk' missing person

Police say they are concerned for the welfare of a man who has gone missing from the Shankill area of Belfast.

Police North Belfast says that Steven Crossett is believed to still be in the area of North Belfast, and officers are appealing to the Shankill community to help them trace a man they describe as a 'high risk missing person'. They ask that anybody who sees him to call 101 immediately and quote reference 2079 of August 25.

Police North Belfast said on Facebook : "We are concerned for the welfare of Steven Crossett missing from the Shankill area and believed to still be in the area of North Belfast. Could we ask the community to call 101 immediately if you have sighted Steven. Reference 2079 of the 25th August. Thank you."

The charity Missing People, founded in 1993, provides specialist support to people who are missing or at risk of missing, and the families and friends left behind. Its free confidential helpline to support missing people and their loved ones is available by phone and text on 116000 and via email.
