A plea has been launched to find the Ayrshire family of a man who was tragically found dead in his Renfrewshire home.
Officers have this week appealed to the public for help to trace the family of 60-year-old Richard Reid.
Richard's body was discovered at his house in Alice Street, Paisley on Sunday, January 9.
Officers have confirmed that there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding Richard’s death.
It is believed Richard originates from the Barrhead area of East Renfrewshire and that he has family in Ayrshire.
Ayrshire police shared their appeal on social media as they bid to identfy next of kin.
A spokesperson said: "We continue to appeal for help to trace the relatives of Richard Reid, who was found dead in Paisley earlier this month. It is believed he has family living in the Ayrshire area.
“Anyone who has information about his relatives is asked to contact police on 101, quoting incident number 3061 of January 9.”
