Plea for information as Aviemore man missing for more than a week

RESIDENTS in Aviemore are appealing for information as concern grows for a missing 33-year-old man.

Rodrigo Falcon was last seen at around 3.10am on December 11 heading south out of Aviemore.

The barman had been wearing a red jumper, baggy jeans and blue trainers when he left the Vault nightclub at around 2am.

He is described as being 5ft 6 inches tall, of slim build, and sporting a dark mullet with a moustache and a beard.

A sighting by the driver of a gritter on the A9 has already been reported to the police.

However, locals are appealing to any drivers who were on the A9 or B9152 in the early hours of December 11 to check dashcam footage and report any sightings.

Police have also made appeals to any local businesses who may have private CCTV footage.

Officers have already released CCTV images showing Falcon heading down Grampian Road towards the southern end of Aviemore.

Along with police, mountain rescue, and the coastguard, more than 100 people have been searching for Falcon throughout the week.

Falcon’s family, who are in Argentina, said they are “very thankful and appreciative of everything everyone is doing.”

Police say that anyone with information on the whereabouts of Rodrigo should call 101, quoting reference 2387 of 11 December
