2022 is almost at an end and you can see how many hours you've sunk into your favourite PS4 and PS5 games with the PlayStation Wrap-up.
It's basically Spotify Wrapped for PlayStation, and you can view your stats for the year, from trophies earned, hours played, number of games played and more. I will say that the final PlayStation Plus games downloaded category is a tad gratuitous; the headlining figure is actually the number of games available on the service with the amount you've downloaded being an afterthought further down the page. And the little asterisk next to it further clarifies that it's totted up based on the PlayStation Plus Premium tier, rather than the level you're subscribed to.
But it's worth sitting through all four dashboard sections to get your Summary Card – which you can share or download – as well as one of six Astro Bot avatars. Each Astro Bot is based on a particular trait which seems to tie into the genre of games you favour. My top genre this year was action-adventure with Horizon Forbidden West taking the number one spot, so I got the action Astro Bot avatar.
Here's how to find out how many hours you've spent glued to your console, and get your own cute little avatar.
How to find your PlayStation Wrap-Up 2022
The PlayStation Wrap-up isn't available on your console, which was where I was trying to find it initially and getting needlessly infuriated about it. Instead, you need to head to the PlayStation Wrap-Up 2022 page and sign into your account to get started. And that's it! You're in.
You'll be presented with a colourless dashboard with all four categories locked at first. You need to click through each section fully and hit the 'return to dashboard' button to unlock them. Once you're done, you'll get your summary card which you can either download, or share straight to Facebook or Twitter.
Further down the page, you can check out which Astro Bot avatar you've been presented with. The code to redeem it on your PS4 or PS5 will be right there as well, so you can either revisit the page later when your console is nearby, or pop it into the PlayStation app to download.
