PlayStation Plus just revealed its September 2024 games catalog which features several titles that many fans are eagerly waiting for.
The blog post revealed that Premium and Extra members will get up to 13 games this month as well as a Day 1 release. Among these, nine are through the Game Catalog and the other four are through the Classics catalog.
PlayStation Plus' September 2024 Catalog
All of the PlayStation Plus Game and Classic Catalog titles will become available from Sept. 17, 2024, onwards. The Day 1 release is The Plucky Squire which will be coming out on the PlayStation 5.
Other titles included in this month's catalog are Under the Waves, Night in the Woods, Chernobylite, Wild Card Football, Space Engineers, Road 96, Ben 10, and Far Cry 5 for Premium and Extra Members. The Classics and VR list include Pistol Whip, Secret Agent Clank, Sky Gunner, and Mister Mosquito, according to Insider Gaming.
The Day 1 release included in the September 2024 catalog, The Plucky Squire, follows the magical adventures of Jot and his friends. They are storybook characters who suddenly discover a three-dimensional world outside the pages of their book.
But then, the evil Humgrump realizes that he is the villain of the book and is destined to lose his battle against the forces of good. He then chooses to kick the hero out of the book's pages and changes its story forever.
A Wonderful Adventure
Now, you must help Jot face various challenges in order to save his friends from Humgrump's dark forces and restore his book's happy ending. Players will be able to jump between 2D and 3D worlds in a charming action adventure journey, said the PlayStation Blog.
In this game, you will be solving puzzles, boxing badgers, flying with a jetpack, and enjoying a lot more delightful and surprising mini-challenges. You will have to work on becoming the hero of a living storybook.
Far Cry 5 for the PlayStation 4 is also among the titles that are included in PlayStation Plus' September 2024 catalog. This particular game is a re-release for the catalog and is a game that sticks true to the franchise's formula.
Players get a massive section of Montana that they can explore and encounter doomsday cultists who are trying to stop them every step of the way. It also features an antagonist who is responsible for laying siege to the small town of Hope Country, according to GameSpot.
