Sony has announced the games coming to PlayStation Plus’s monthly selection in November, and they include a brand new release.
November’s PS Plus titles for November are Ghostwire: Tokyo, Hot Wheels Unleashed 2 – Turbocharged and Death Note Killer Within.
These are the monthly titles available to all tiers of PS Plus subscribers. And once you claim them you retain access as long as you have an active membership.
They’ll be available from November 5. And, as we say every month, this also means it’s your last chance to pick up October’s games. Those are horror-soaked Dead Space, wrestling title WWE 2K24, and visual novel Doki Doki Literature Club Plus!
Here’s a closer look at what’s coming up in November.
PlayStation Plus November games
Ghostwire: Tokyo is our highest-profile release of the month. It came out in 2022, and is a PlayStation 5 only release.
The population of Japan has disappeared, and as one of the few people left on the streets of Tokyo, you have to contend with the supernatural forces prowling around Shibuya.
It was not a massive sales success, but did receive generally positive reviews (75 per cent on Metacritic) and is worth a look if you fancy trying a stylish first-person action adventure.
Want something the kids can play? You’re on much safer ground with Hot Wheels Unleashed 2 – Turbocharged.
This colourful arcade racer puts you in the driving seat of a whole dealership’s worth of Hot Wheels vehicles. Despite only being released in 2023, it can be played on both PlayStation 5 and PS4.
And, well, it’s simply a lot of fun. The racing physics are drift-heavy, and more than 130 cars, bikes and more features. You can also play in split-screen multiplayer - a maximum of two players only, but this will be a blast.
Our last pick for November 2024 is the brand-new release, Death Note Killer Within. For those unfamiliar with Death Note, it’s a manga that has gone on to be adapted into movies, TV shows and, yes, other games.
Light Yagami finds a book. When he writes someone’s name in it, they will die.
It’s all very dramatic, but Death Note Killer Within turns the premise into a social game inspired by Among Us.
You play as either the owner of the Death Note or one of their followers, trying to take down a target. Or as an investigator trying to pin down which player (up to 10 can play together) is controlling the Death Note. This one is only out on November 5 - no reviews available as yet - but it could be a lot of fun with a group of friends.
