PlayStation Plus Essential Tier July 2023 games have reportedly leaked early ahead of the official announcement later today (June 28). As per what is becoming a regular occurrence, leaker Billbil-kun is said to have gotten hold of the line-up and released it to eager fans, who were waiting on the latest games coming to PS Plus, via Dealabs.
Perhaps the biggest title reportedly coming to the console's Essential Tier is Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War, which was the last game in the series developed by Treyarch and the fifth entry into the long-running Black Ops sub-series. Black Ops Cold War was also notable for being the first entry in the series to launch on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, as the franchise took its debut step into next-generation consoles.
PS Plus July 2023 Essential games will officially be revealed on Wednesday, June 28 at around 4.30pm BST. Essential titles are typically unveiled on the final Wednesday of the month (or the first Wednesday of a month if it starts on the first).

The full list of PS Plus Essential games for July 2023 is expected to be as follows, The Mirror reports:
- Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War (PS4|PS5)
- Alan Wake Remastered (PS4|PS5)
- Endling: Extinction is Forever (PS4|PS5)
These games will be available to download on Tuesday, July 4, and will remain available to download until the PS Plus Essential August 2023 games arrive on Tuesday, August 1. Though Call of Duty Cold War is the standout game, both Alan Wake Remastered and Endling: Extinction is Forever, which has a 10/10 rating on Steam, are solid titles.
Alan Wake follows the author as he goes on what is supposed to be a peaceful getaway to Bright Falls, Washington. However, he soon comes to realise that the words of his latest novel are coming to life and to make things worse, his newest story is a horror.
While this is a remastered version of the original, Alan Wake 2 is set to launch less than four months from now. Lastly, there's Endling: Extinction is Forever, which places the player in the paws of the last mother fox in a post-apocalyptic world.
