Sony has announced the games coming to the PlayStation Plus games catalogue this month, including Monster Hunter and Football Manager, two massive franchises.
Fourteen are new games arriving on June 18. Here’s the list:

- Monster Energy Supercross 6 (68%)
- Police Simulator: Patrol Officers (58%)
- Far Cry 4 (85%)
- LEGO The Hobbit (72%)
- LEGO The Incredibles (69%)
For PlayStation Premium subscribers only:
- Kavak VR: Mirage (PS VR2 required)
- LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy (PS2, 2006)
- Ghosthunter (PS2, 2003)
- Daxter (PSP, 2006)
Monster Hunter Rise is perhaps the most notable game in June’s line-up. It is the most recent main-line Monster Hunter game, released in 2021.
As the name suggests, it’s a series in which you hunt monsters. They roam around large outdoor environments.
Monster Hunter Rise is one of the more stripped-back and simple games in the series, making it a good place to start if you are new to this franchise.
After Us is the game you’re least likely to have seen before. You play as a forest spirit, roaming around a version of Earth ruined by humanity. You restore peace by bringing nature back to the environment and it plays out as a 3D exploration-heavy platformer.
This is the month’s oddball addition — and one of the least well-reviewed.
Crusader Kings III is interesting too, because it’s not quite what you might expect. It’s a role-playing strategy game, but not one where you grow a giant civilisation or army.
You play as a ruler, making decisions about your kingdom as quirky and unusual as you like. You aim to stay alive and remain as ruler.
Football Manager 2024 is sure to pull in the fans too, particularly with Euro 2024 getting under way on June 2024. We recently heard the follow-up, due in November, will be the first in the series to have officially licensed Premier League content. The current edition is still great, though, and — you’ve been warned — an epic time sink.
