PlayStation 5 back in stock at Currys but gamers will need to be quick to buy

The PlayStation 5 has come back in stock at Currys but gamers will need to be quick to buy a console. The retailer went live with a drop of the consoles this morning (March 16).

Gamers will be able to get their hands on various PlayStation 5 bundles with Currys. They currently have a PS5 Disc version, with Horizon Forbidden West, 1 TB SSD and a Logitech G435 Headset Bundle for £699. They also have a PS5 bundle which contains Gran Turismo 7, 1 TB SSD and a Logitech G435 Headset for £699 here.

Last week, John Lewis went live with their drop of the PlayStation 5, selling various bundles. They had a PlayStation 5 Console with Horizon Forbidden West & Gran Turismo 7 Bundle for £589.99. A week earlier, Amazon also made the console available once again. The UK site had the Digital Edition console and the Disc Console available to buy for Amazon Prime users only.

The PlayStation 5 is still a popular console among gamers, and a console that is still proving to be high in demand in the UK. Sony's latest console has sold more than 10 million times worldwide, making it the biggest console launch in US history. In the UK, the console was made available to buy on November 19, 2020 and sold out instantly.

The PlayStation 5 comes in two forms - the PS5 console: £449.99 and the PS5 Digital Edition console: £359.99. The only difference between the PS5 console and the PS5 Digital Edition console is the inclusion of an Ultra HD Blu-ray disc drive in the PS5 console. The PS5 Digital Edition console does not feature a disc drive.
