Arsenal secured a hard-fought 1-0 victory against Wolves in a tense encounter that saw Myles Lewis-Skelly controversially sent off in the first half.
Riccardo Calafiori’s strike in the 74th minute was enough to earn Mikel Arteta’s men all three points.
The Gunners keep the gap between themselves and Liverpool at six points, following the latter’s comfortable 4-1 victory over Ipswich.

Jose Sa – 6.5
Made a couple solid saves but wasn’t overly tested. Could do little about the winning goal.
Matt Doherty – 7
Defended well and was drew the foul for the Lewis-Skelly incident, but couldn’t make a decisive impact.
Santiago Bueno – 6.5
Kept things tight at the back but struggled to cope with Arsenal’s movement at times.
Emmanuel Agbadou – 8
One of Wolves’ best players on the afternoon. Strong in duels, composed on the ball, and made several key blocks.
Nelson Semedo – 6.5
Had a quiet game defensively and didn’t offer much going forward.
Andre – 7
Battled hard in midfield, making some good interceptions and pressing Arsenal’s midfielders effectively.
Joao Gomes – 4
Struggled to impose himself and was sent off following two yellow cards, and he could’ve even been dismissed earlier. A disappointing performance.
Rayan Ait-Nouri – 6.5
Had some bright moments going forward but didn’t provide enough quality in the final third.
Pablo Sarabia – 6
Worked hard but lacked cutting edge in attack. Missed Wolves’ best chance early in the first half.
Matheus Cunha – 6.5
He would’ve wanted to showcase his quality having been linked with a switch to the Gunners. He showed glimpses but was isolated for large periods.
Jorgen Strand Larsen – 5.5
Was kept quiet by Arsenal’s centre-backs for the 32 minutes he played but was forced off due to injury.

Commanding performance in goal, making four saves to keep Wolves at bay.
Jurrien Timber – 7.5
Solid defensively and showed good composure on the ball.
William Saliba – 7.5
A dominant display at the back, kept Wolves’ attack in check.
Gabriel – 7.5
Strong in the air and composed with his passing. Captained the side on the afternoon and marshalled the defence well.
Myles Lewis-Skelly – 6
The 18-year-old was having an impressive showing and putting his stamp on the game before receiving a controversial red card from referee Michael Oliver.
Ethan Nwaneri – 6
Struggled to make an impact on his first start back from injury and was sacrificed at half-time when Arteta brought another defender on to replace Lewis-Skelly.
Thomas Partey – 7.5
Controlled the midfield well, breaking up play and distributing efficiently.
Declan Rice – 8
A commanding presence in midfield, particularly shined when Arsenal were down to 10 and up against it. Captain material.
Gabriel Martinelli – 6.5
Showed flashes of his attacking threat but a quiet game on the right hand side.
Kai Havertz – 6.5
Linked play well but missed a couple of really good chances in the first half that could’ve cost the Gunners.
Leandro Trossard – 7
Looked sharp in attack, creating chances and keeping Wolves’ defence occupied.
