Check out the Bulls’ player grades from Saturday’s loss against the 76ers.
DeMar DeRozan: B+
DeMar DeRozan led the Bulls with 24 points on 7-of-12 shooting and 9-of-10 from the free throw line, along with 3 rebounds and 4 assists. Philadelphia looked to double team DeRozan down the stretch, which helped take him out of the game in the final moments.
Zach LaVine: B-
Zach LaVine finished Saturday night’s loss with 20 points, 2 rebounds, and 3 assists on 8-of-19 shooting from the field. LaVine struggled from downtown, hitting just 2-of-9 as the All-Star is still trying to find a consistent groove between missing games due to injury management for his left knee.
Nikola Vucevic: A
Nikola Vucevic was dominant once again for the Bulls, finishing with 23 points and 19 rebounds on 8-of-14 shooting and 5-of-7 from 3-point range. Vooch was on fire from distance in this one, including a wide-open look down the stretch that LaVine missed him on.
Patrick Williams: C+
Patrick Williams finished with 9 points, 3 rebounds, 1 steal, and 1 block in 32 minutes against the 76ers. Williams has been trending upward over the last few games after a rather slow start to the season, which only means good things for Billy Donovan and team.
Alex Caruso: B+
Alex Caruso was a team-high +7 against Philadelphia, finishing with 9 points, 3 rebounds, 6 assists, 3 steals and 1 block. Caruso got the start once again as Ayo Dosunmu was out due to a thoracic contusion.
Javonte Green: B
Javonte Green played well on Saturday, finishing with 9 points, 6 rebounds, 1 assist, and 1 steal in 19 minutes off the bench. Green was super active on the defensive end, which keeps him as a mainstay in Donovan’s rotation.
Coby White: C
Coby White’s shooting cooled off on Saturday, scoring 7 points on just 3-of-9 from the floor. White scored a season-high 19 points in Friday’s loss to the Spurs.
