Player grades: Bulls hold on in crunch time to knock off Bucks

The Chicago Bulls defeated their rival in the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday night, 118-113, to head into Thanksgiving with a victory.

Chicago lost all four regular season matchups against Milwaukee last season, followed up by losing to the Bucks in the first-round of the playoffs so getting the win on Wednesday was huge.

Nikola Vucevic and Coby White both hit clutch 3-pointer’s in the final minute to help clinch the game for Chicago.

DeMar DeRozan led the way for the Bulls with 36 points, four rebounds, eight assists, one steal, and two blocks on 14-of-24 shooting from the field.

Both Zach LaVine and Vucevic scored 18 points of their own and Coby White was huge off the bench with 14 points, three rebounds, two assists, and three steals.

Check out the player grades from the Bulls’ victory below.

DeMar DeRozan: A+

DeMar DeRozan led the way for Chicago with 36 points, four rebounds, eight assists, one steal, and two blocks on 14-of-24 shooting from the field, including 23 points in the second half. Deebo went toe-to-toe with Giannis and walked away with the W.

Zach LaVine: B

Zach LaVine finished Wednesday’s victory with 18 points, five rebounds, five assists, and one steal on 6-of-17 shooting from the floor. Still not the best percentage from the field but it’s better than his 1-of-14 from last week.

Nikola Vucevic: B

Nikola Vucevic also finished with 18 points, five rebounds, four assists, and one block. Despite the Bucks outrebounding Vooch and the Bulls by 13, Chicago got the win and that’s all that matters.

Ayo Dosunmu: B

Ayo Dosunmu finished with eight points, three rebounds, three assists, and two blocks in 24 minutes of action. Dosunmu did a good job of defending Jrue Holiday, who only got six shot attempts up in Wednesday’s game.

Patrick Williams: B+

Patrick Williams finished with 11 points, three rebounds, three assists, one steal, and two blocks on 3-of-7 shooting from the field. Williams has been consistent, scoring in double-figures in four of the last five games.

Javonte Green: A-

Javonte Green brought the energy off the bench on Wednesday, finishing with 11 points, three rebounds, one assist, one steal, and two blocks on 4-of-5 shooting in 18 minutes.

Coby White: A

Coby White was clutch down the stretch, hitting a 3-pointer with just under 50 seconds remaining to help give Chicago the lead. White finished with 14 points, three rebounds, two assists, and three steals on 5-of-10 shooting and 4-of-7 from downtown.
