DeMar DeRozan: A-
DeMar DeRozan led the way for the Bulls with 33 points, three rebounds, three assists, one steal, and one block on 14-of-26 shooting from the floor in Wednesday’s loss. DeRozan got his shots off on Wednesday after only shooting six times in Monday’s victory over the Raptors.
Zach LaVine: B-
Zach LaVine finished with 23 points, four rebounds, four assists, and two steals on Wednesday while shooting just 9-of-22 from the field. LaVine struggled from 3-point range, hitting only 3-of-12 attempts.
Nikola Vucevic: B
In Wednesday’s loss, Nikola Vucevic finished with 18 points, seven rebounds, and two assists. Jonas Valanciunas and the Pelicans were able to keep Vooch off the boards and eliminate any second-chance points.
Ayo Dosunmu: C
Ayo Dosunmu finished with seven points, three rebounds, and four assists in Wednesday’s loss to the Pelicans. Ayo’s defense has been steady game in and game out but his offense has been up and down so far this season.
Patrick Williams: B
Patrick Williams finished with seven points, four rebounds, one assist, one steal, and four blocks on Wednesday. Despite the big games from Ingram and Williamson, Williams competed his butt off on defense and that’s all you can ask.
Goran Dragic: A-
Goran Dragic continues to contribute off the bench for the Bulls, finishing with 14 points, two rebounds, and six assists on 6-of-11 shooting from the floor. On night’s where Dosunmu’s offense isn’t there, it’s been a luxury for Billy Donovan to have Dragic off the bench.
Derrick Jones Jr.: B-
Derrick Jones Jr. has consistently made an impact when he sees the floor early on this season. Jones Jr. finished with five points, two rebounds, one assist, and two blocks in just 11 minutes of action.
