The Platinum Jubilee long weekend is just around the corner and across Nottinghamshire events, parties and celebrations are being organised. The four-day long weekend running from Thursday June 2.
While Notts folk may be wrapped up in the excitement of what to eat or wear, the less exciting part of the planning shouldn't be overlooked. A private street party potentially means a road closure and that means informing the powers that be.
Those planning to celebrate with neighbours, where it affects a road or pavement, will have probably already informed the local council about their plans. The list below shows just how many.

Councillor Pavlos Kotsonis, Portfolio Holder for Leisure, Culture and Planning at Nottingham City Council said: “It is wonderful to see how our communities and neighbourhoods have come together to plan events for the Platinum Jubilee right across the city."
