Proposals have been put forward to demolish a former pub on the site of an old railway station in Nottinghamshire.
The Pullman Inn, situated in Station Road, Widmerpool, will be knocked down if plans are given the all-clear by Rushcliffe Borough Council.
The pub, originally called the Schooler Inn, was opened in 1966 at Widmerpool Station, which closed to passengers in 1949.
According to WhatPub, the Campaign for Real Ale's online pub guide, the decor "retained a railway theme with a dedicated dining area even laid out to look like classical on-board first class dining".
It adds that the pub was focused on homemade carveries.
Plans for the demolition have been validated by the council and await approval.
