Plans for a new hotel in the city centre of Edinburgh to be constructed have been submitted to the City of Edinburgh Council this week.
Set to be constructed in the New Town area of the capital, the hotel would sit on Wemyss Place Mews - just off Queen Street.
According to the original letter of application, the change would include a, "change of use from an office to a single apartment hotel unit at 4 Wemyss Place Mews.

"The changes are internal except for new slate roof exhaust vents."
Ian Forbes Architect, the group who submitted the proposal, noted that the original offices are listed as two commercial units.
If approved, the hotel would be nearby the Yotel in Edinburgh, and the Moray Place Bed and Breakfast accommodation in the capital.

The hotel would also be a five-minute walk from various bars and restaurants on George Street and Rose Street, including Slug & Lettuce and The Alexander Graham Bell Wetherspoons.
