Plans have been put forward to build 83 new homes in Cardiff.
Developers have launched a pre application consultation review on the plans which could see 83 new homes built in the Caerau area of the city.
The plans, which have not yet been submitted to the council as a full planning application, propose to develop the land to the south of Narberth Road in Caerau, at the back of Western Leisure Centre.

The plans show that the new homes will primarily be built on empty land behind the leisure centre, however also extend onto Western Leisure Centre playing field.
The homes will include terraced and semi detached properties as well as apartments with vehicle and cycle access and parking.
The plans mainly consist of two-storey homes as well as three storey flats.
There will also be a public linear park which connects the new development to the adjacent parkland near the leisure centre.
Homes away from the linear park will have 'pocket greens' which will provide a small green space for people to sit and meet outdoors.
Developers Wates Residential say the homes' contemporary designs are influenced by the Netherlands and aim to bring 'a feeling of light and space to relatively modest homes'.
The plans are currently in the pre-application consultation period and are looking for comments from residents before submitting to the council.
The consultation is open for residents to make comments to the developers until March 11 and can be found here.
