Plans for significant changes at McDonald's in Daybrook

Changes could be made with the layout and furnishings at a branch of McDonald's.

The application, submitted on January 5, is for the installation of a new access door for 'a new McDelivery door' and eleven cycle racks at Sir John Robinson Way, Daybrook.

Outside of the the store a new click and serve bay would be in place, with refreshed numbering, barriers, eleven bike racks and new hatch road markings.

But no extension is proposed to the fast food chain.

In order to make room for the new McDelivery door a number of chairs, stools and tables will be moved around in the restaurant.

And the price and menu board would also be moved.

In December, Nottingham's first ever delivery-only McDonald's centre opened at the Chettles Trade Park located off Midland Way.

For workers the existing drinks equipment will be reconfigured and in the crew room furnishings will be replaced.

McDonald's were contacted for comment.

The application is currently pending consideration by Gedling Borough Council.
