Plans for a major speculative industrial scheme in Bridgend have been revealed.
Trebor Developments and Maple Grove Developments have appointed Andrew Scott as main contractor for their latest scheme at the Pencoed Technology Park.
Work on the 46,242 sq ft single unit will begin on site in May. It will be ready for occupation in Q1 of 2023 and is suitable for a range of uses.
The scheme benefits from grant funding provided by Welsh Government and the European Regional Development Fund.
Bob Tattrie, managing partner at Birmingham Trebor Developments, said: “It has taken a long period to acquire this site and finalise the grant funding, but we are now ready to deliver and the site location is excellent, being partway between Swansea and Cardiff.
" We remain very active in the south Wales market and this latest speculative industrial unit is one of very few such developments being delivered in 2022/2023.. We expect strong occupier interest.”
The scheme is being marketed by property advisory firms Knight Frank and DLP through their respective Cardiff offices.
