PLANS have been submitted to Scottish Borders Council for a 40-lodge high quality holiday park outside of Jedburgh.
The proposed site would incorporate the conversion of redundant Victorian stone barns that act as a gateway to Earlsheugh Farm.
The applicant, CampbellMac Developments, has submitted an initial Proposal of Application Notice (PAN) to SBC.
The planning authority has to respond within 21 days of receiving the notice.
A submission with the application states: “The proposal is for a high quality holiday lodge park for up to 40 holiday lodges.
“The application at this stage is for planning in principle and covers the use of the land for up to 40 lodges, along with the proposed access from the A68 road.”
It is proposed that a 12-week consultation process will be held with interested parties.
