A FLIGHT travelling from Glasgow has made a sharp U-turn after declaring a mid-flight emergency.
Jet2 flight LS135 to Rome, which departed Glasgow Airport shortly after 7am on Monday, issued a 7700 squawk alert.
The alert can be used for a general emergency, and can refer to a technical, environmental or medical incident.

Flightrader24 shows the plane was over Paris when it did U-turn.
It has since landed at London Stanstead.
