One lucky Radio Nova listener can win €5,000 if they can guess where PJ Gallagher's new Dublin GAA tattoo is.
The sports-mad comedian and self-proclaimed die-hard fan of Dublin GAA was recently hit with the ultimate fan challenge by his Morning Glory co-host Jim McCabe. Last week Jim dared him to get a tattoo declaring the Dublin GAA as the “All Ireland Champions of 2023”.
With listeners also joining in and demanding that PJ wear his heart on his sleeve for Dublin GAA, the challenge took an interesting turn when Dave Doyle from the ink aficionados at 123ink.ie sent PJ a whopping offer of €5,000 to get the tattoo. Mr Doyle said: “With two babies on the way and him doing some home renovations, we thought the poor man might need an extra bit of cash. And, to be fair, if five grand isn’t enough to show his support for his club then he isn’t a true fan.”

After a week of considering the 5k offer PJ announced on air earlier today that he just can’t get the tattoo and would be turning down the cash. Dave was back on the phone saying: “Since PJ has chickened out of the Champion tattoo why not just get a Dublin ball tattoo and we can play 'Spot The Ball'. Get the listeners to guess where you put it on your body and someone who guesses the spot wins the 5K.”
PJ headed off to get the tattoo after the show and there is even some video proof.
Between May 23 and May 31, listeners will have the chance to get online to see a grid of PJ and pick the spot where they think the ball is on his body and someone who gets the correct spot will win the money.
