Every year, one of the most anticipated measurements for NFL draft prospects comes when quarterbacks have their hand size logged, and the reaction is usually a bit over the top.
That appears to be the case for Pitt’s Kenny Pickett, who didn’t have his hands measured at the Senior Bowl, citing his double-jointed thumbs.
Speaking to the media Wednesday at the NFL Scouting Combine, Pickett joked that reporters have spent more time talking about his hand size than teams have during his meetings and interviews (via Darin Gantt of Panthers.com).
Widely regarded as one of the top quarterback prospects in the 2022 NFL draft class, Pickett should be a first-round lock, regardless of how big his hands are.
