Pippa Middleton's unbelievable net worth 11 years after that iconic bridesmaid moment

Pippa Middleton became a household name overnight back in 2011 thanks to her big sister Kate's wedding to Prince William.

While Kate stunned in a £250,000 gown by Sarah Burton, the creative designer for Alexander McQueen, Pippa almost accidentally stole the show as she carried out her bridesmaid duties.

Much was made of Pippa's form-flattering ivory dress, by the same designer, although she was pipped at the post for the annual Rear Of The Year title by former Countdown host Carol Vorderman.

Fans also couldn't get enough of the apparent chemistry between her and Prince Harry, who was serving as best man for William.

One-time PR worker Pippa - who turns 39 today - was flooded with media offers and went on to write two books and columns for Vanity Fair and the Sunday Telegraph.

Her book, Celebrate, shared her party planning expertise gained while working for her family's own business, Party Pieces, but it attracted disappointing sales.

Pippa - who was dubbed P-Middy in her heyday - also penned a food column for Waitrose kitchen before turning her attention to charity work.

In 2013 she became an ambassador for Mary Hare School for deaf children in Berkshire, followed by the British Heart Foundation a year later.

Meanwhile, Pippa was on a quest to find someone to settle down with. And in 2007, she first met hedge fund manager and former racing driver James Matthews - who is the brother of Made in Chelsea star, Spencer Matthews - on the stunning Caribbean island of St Barts.

But it wasn't until 2012, when Pippa had split with English cricket player Alex Loudon, that the couple were spotted on their first romantic meal in London.

The timing still appears to have been off though, with Pippa spotted looking cosy with stockbroker Nico Jackson in February 2013.

But the long-distance between Geneva-based Nico and London-based Pippa reportedly proved to be a problem and they split in 2015.

The following January, Pippa and James were snapped back in St Barts on a romantic holiday. They even made their public debut at the Birkenbeiner Ski resort in Norway and in July 2016 he proposed with a massive diamond ring while on holiday in the Lake District.

They tied the knot on May 20, 2017 at St Mark's Church near the Middleton family home in Bucklebury, Berkshire, with Pippa inheriting some rather lofty titles.

James' dad is Laird of the 10,000 acre Glen Affric estate in Scotland, meaning that once it's passed down to James, she will be Lady Glen Affric. For now, she can use the title Mrs Matthews of Glen Affric.

And with big titles comes big money. Before tying the knot, Pippa is rumoured to have amassed an impressive £1million.

But according to Celebrity Net Worth, she's now worth around £43million thanks to her husband's aristocratic roots.

The couple have three children, son Arthur, three, daughter Grace, one and a six-week old baby reported to have been called Rose.
