Pinterest Predicts is as close to a crystal ball as we can hope to have as it charts users' searches when it comes to everything from fashion to beauty to home decor. There was one thing that really caught our eye regarding the latest report. Moto boho is poised to take off next year and we're attempting to beat the rush.
So what exactly is moto boho? Here's how Pinterest explains it. "In 2025, Gen Z and Boomers will take to the streets with chunky leather handbags, flowy skirts, moto boots and just enough fringe." Basically, it's a mash-up of the boho and motocross/biker crazes. Pinterest points out that searches for "edgy boho outfits," "lace skirt outfit," "moto boots outfit," "slouchy bag" and "boho fits" are rising at a dramatic pace.
This potential phenomenon is a perfect combination and leaves plenty of room for interpretation. You can simply slip a leather jacket over that semi-sheer ruffled dress hanging in your closet. Or go all out by also incorporating a slouchy hobo bag and some biker boots. On the flip side, try teaming a leather dress with a lacy top, lace tights and suede shoes. Or take a ruffled blouse, tuck it into crochet-accented jeans and layer it under a studded leather tench coat. The possibilities are pretty endless.
