Adelaide: India were bundled out for 180 runs on the first day of the day-nigh Test being played in Adelaide on Friday.
For India, Nitish Kumar Reddy scored 42 runs while KL Rahul and Shubman Gill scored 37 and 31 runs respectively.

For the hosts team, pacer Mitchell Starc took 6 wickets after conceding 48 runs in 14.1 overs while Pat Cummins and Scott Boland also chipped in with the ball as they took 2 wickets each.
Ind wins toss
Earlier in the day, India skipper Rohit Sharma won the toss and decided to bat first in the second Test match of the five-match Border-Gavaskar Trophy.
India opener Yashasvi Jaiswal was dismissed for a duck on a very first ball of the Pink Ball Test.

India gets off to bad start
Later, Rahul and Gill stitched a partnership of 69 runs for the second wicket. Gill was dismissed by Starc.
Following the dismissal of Virat Kohli (7), India kept losing their wickets at regular interval and folded for 180 runs.
