Mung Bean Garlic gets its name from the fact that fully-cooked dehulled mung beans look very much like finely-chopped garlic. Dried longan fruit and brown sugar are added to make this delightful dish more filling. The recipe being a remnant from a time when rice was an expensive luxury. Though it’s a tradition in Hengchun to enjoy sweet mung bean hot, another popular option is to serve it on ice with homemade brown-sugar syrup as a host of other delicious toppings.

With a catchy name that foodies might be tempted to translate as "Big Fat Slice", this cozy little pink and white eatery packs a big mouthful. Picture super thick slices of crispy toast, a rich milky aroma, and a range of toothsome toppings and spreads, and you’ll see why it’s the perfect choice for a decadent afternoon tea.
冷熱冰 | Hot Shaved Ice
