Leeds United have announced their third signing of the summer with midfielder Marc Roca joining from Bayern Munich. Roca has penned a four-year-deal at Elland Road, arriving for a fee in the region of €12 million.
The 25-year-old follows the additions of Brenden Aaronson and Rasmus Kristensen from Red Bull Salzburg to take Leeds’ spending close to the £50 million mark. Roca found game time hard to come by following his move to Bayern from Espanyol two years ago, playing just 15 matches in the Bundesliga.
He was a regular during his time at Espanyol, though, with Bayern beating off competition from a number sides to bring him to the Allianz Arena. If he is able to recapture the form he showed during his time in La Liga, he will represent a strong piece of business for Leeds.
