Piers Morgan jokingly stormed off the set of Lorraine after making his return to ITV a year after his Good Morning Britain departure.
The 57-year-old TV presenter, who launches a new programme on TalkTV next week, made headlines last March when he quit the daytime show following an on-air clash with weatherman Alex Beresford over the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s interview with Oprah Winfrey.
He arrived to the sound of Eminem song Without Me, which features the words “guess who’s back”, before sitting down for a 15-minute interview. A notoriously hard interviewer himself, Piers might have thought he was in for an easy ride with Lorraine this morning.

But the Scottish presenter gave him a run for his money with both their voices raised as they hammered out the detail of the, now infamous, moment Piers stormed off the set of Good Morning Britain. At the time, Piers said he did not believe Meghan Markle's claims of mental health problems in the interview, and his comments received the most complaints to Ofcom it its history.
Lorraine said: "It was your fault though, because you stormed out. If you hadn't walk out then it wouldn't have happened." To which Piers replied: "I didn't walk out," causing Lorraine to yell: "You did!"
Piers continued: "Play the video of me storming back in. I went back in that day. I went back in and I finished that show. And then I chose not to apologise and to leave."
Lorraine then gestures: "You can toddle off now," to which Piers stands up and shouts, "I'm storming off!" as he exits the set and concludes the interview. "He can't help himself," says Lorraine but seemingly it was all in jest.
Piers Morgan gave a few hours notice on Twitter on Wednesday night that he would be dropping the name of his first interviewee for new talk show Piers Uncensored, coming to TalkTV on April 25. His tweet promised the interview would make "global news around the world" and he was right. Finally releasing the teaser clip at 9pm, it showed him sitting down to interview former president of the United States, Donald Trump.
The interview, which will be aired on Monday, April 25, on Piers Morgan Uncensored, shows Trump saying: "OK, Piers, I'm ready," as the pair sit face to face for a candid discussion. In the 30-second clip, Trump then says: "I'm a very honest man, much more honest than you."
And it seems as though the interview was downhill all the way as towards the end of the clip we see Trump becoming agitated saying: "Very dishonest, let's finish up the interview. Turn the camera off".
