Piers Morgan slams Harry and Meghan as they break silence on South Park episode

Piers Morgan has shared yet another opinion on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle - this time regarding the couple's reaction to being mocked on South Park.

The former Good Morning Britain presenter, 57, says the Duke and Duchess of Sussex "can't laugh at themselves" and predicts they "will be seething" after being roasted on the adult cartoon.

Piers' comments come as Harry and Meghan break their silence on numerous royal expert opinions and claims that they are pursuing legal action over the episode - with a spokesperson for the couple slamming the rumours as "nonsense".

Speaking on his TalkTV show on Tuesday night, Piers discussed "the rumours [Harry and Meghan] are suing" the South Park team and claimed the couple "don't have that valve" to laugh at themselves.

"Being a global laughing stock, as they've been made by South Park, they won't take it as a badge of honour," the long-time critic of Harry and Meghan mused on his show.

"They'll be absolutely seething."

As a clip from Tuesday night's installment Piers Morgan Uncensored was shared on social media, Piers' comments received a mixed reaction from viewers.

A snippet from the episode was tweeted from the show's official account (Twitter)

"Not everyone's as much of a Tory snowflake as Piers. Some people can handle criticism and dissent," one Twitter user quipped as they quote-tweeted the clip.

"Why are you still talking about them though," another added, as several of Piers' critics replied with pictures of the broadcaster storming off the set of Good Morning Britain in March 2021.

Some Twitter users enjoyed the presenter's latest comments about Harry and Meghan, with one writing: "You can't act like they do and not expect to be ridiculed."

The South Park episode that has got everyone talking aired last week, titled The World-Wide Privacy Tour, and centrated around the woes of a 'fictional' ginger prince and his wife.

Harry and Meghan were mercilessly mocked in the show, as many celebrities often are, as the Prince and Princess of Canada on a "worldwide privacy tour".

One of the cartoon’s main characters, Stan referred to the Harry and Meghan-like cartoons as the "dumb prince and his stupid wife," while another character named Kyle moaned about the private jet parked outside the pair's home.

In light of the episode, there were some reports claiming they were considering legal action but their spokesperson reportedly said "this is baseless and boring" in a statement given to Newsweek.

"It’s all frankly nonsense. Totally baseless, boring reports," the spokesperson told People .

A source close to the couple has also slammed the "ridiculous" claims that Meghan is feeling "embarrassed" following the release of Harry's tell-all memoir.

The insider denied she is "seeking support from mentors" and said the Duchess of Sussex is not feeling "excluded" from the King's Coronation, despite rumours circulating that she may not attend.

The source close to Meghan has told The Mirror the claims are "ridiculous" and described them as "nothing but lies".
