Piers Morgan's son lashes out at parents taking kids to Sam Smith concerts

Piers Morgan's son has seemingly made his feelings quite clear on where he stands on parents taking their children to see Sam Smith live. On Twitter, 29-year-old Spencer Morgan claimed "anyone taking their kids" to a concert should "have their kids taken away."

Spencer's post comes after the 'Unholy' singer performed at the Mad Cool festival last week in Madrid. They were seen taking to the stage in fishnet tights, black underwear and thigh-high boots.

The 31-year-old hitmaker accompanied their look with a black embellished corset and red and black lace gloves. During the show, they took part of their corset off, to reveal black crosses over their nipples.

Spencer's remark came in response to a post by GB News commentator Adam Brooks, who said: "Sam Smith's tour is open to all ages, including young children. Many parents have opted to take them, is this appropriate for children? Yes or No?"

Retweeting the post to his followers, Spencer added: "Anyone taking their kids to that needs their kids taking away." The statement quickly captured the attention of many, who weighed in to share their opinions.

Maverik249 replied: "Couldn’t get tickets?" Andrew_b72 added: "Get a grip." MolloyWarren said: "Mate, we're are living in a different world????" Others argued it was no different to other artists who don racy outfits when performing.

It comes as Sam Smith will sing "from the perspective of Ken" for the soundtrack of the upcoming film 'Barbie'. The popstar, who features alongside the likes of Billie Eilish and Nicki Minaj in the new 'Barbie The Album', recorded new track 'Man I Am' as part of the tracklist.

Taking to Instagram to share the news, they told fans: "I cannot begin to express how incredibly excited I am to be a part of the soundtrack to this already iconic film. I was invited by the incredible @iammarkronson and Greta Gerwig to write a song from the perspective of Ken for one of the scenes and we honestly had so much fun with this.

"I cannot wait for you to hear what we’ve created together. Barbie Land here we come!!!!"
