Piers Morgan reacts to Laura Woods putting "insulting" Tottenham fan in his place

Piers Morgan was left in stitches after Laura Woods put a Tottenham fan in his place as Arsenal ran out 3-0 winners over Fulham on Sunday.

The Gunners eased to a comfortable victory at Craven Cottage thanks to goals from Gabriel, Gabriel Martinelli and Martin Odegaard. It was a result that moved Arteta's men five points clear at the top of the Premier League.

After the game, Woods, who is a beloved Arsenal fan, took to Twitter to celebrate her side's win. She tweeted: "Oi, what you got there?" One angry Spurs supporter, however, replied with a vile message. He said: "Bore off, you woke Arsenal b***h."

Woods has a terrific comeback in her locker and decided to pull out another one of her infamous one liners - which rattled some Spurs fans. She said: "Insulting me still won’t make your team fun to watch, Julian."

It is a reply that has already hit two million views on Twitter, with 15k people liking the tweet. And Morgan could not contain his laugher as Woods shut down the Tottenham fan. The TalkTV host showed his support for Woods as he posted a series of laughing emojis with a thumbs up.

This isn't the first time Woods has provided a hilarious comeback. Back in January, Woods brutally hit back at a fan that invited her to his back garden.

Initially, Woods took to Twitter on January 24 to ask for holiday tips within the country as she tries to get away in the near future. Woods tweeted: "Hi. Where are the best beaches in Britain? Like very quiet, hidden gem type ones."

One fan appeared to try his luck with Gunners fan Woods by inviting her to his house. "Got a kids sand pit in my back garden?? Does this count?? Mrs is at work most days," he wrote.

However, Woods hit back in typical fashion with a quick-whited reply, which said: "That’s what she says…" Like the reply back to the Tottenham fan, this tweet took off and received plenty of attention on social media.

Will Arsenal win the Premier League this season? Let us know in the comments below!

As for Arsenal, the victory over Fulham steered them clear of second-place Manchester City as they hunt their first title since 2004. Mikel Arteta praised his side's performance as they won their fifth Premier League game in a row.

Arteta said: "Really happy, it's a really tough place to come against a well-organised team. I think we dominated the game, we created so many chances, we kept a clean sheet - which was really important. And we won the game in a convincing way so I'm very happy.

He added: "To me, it does push me to the limit. In the Premier League, 1-0 or 2-0 is not enough, with 3-0 the game changes. There is still a lot to play for in the second half and we dropped the level a little bit in the first few minutes. I think the boys had an outstanding performance against a really tough opponent. Today it's a day to praise them."
