Piers Morgan who famously called reality TV stars "brain dead" has struck up a very unlikely friendship with TOWIE's Chloe Brockett.
The TV presenter, 56, admitted that "Essex girls aren't what they seem" after he got pally with Chloe.
The pair met when Chloe was working at a celebrity hair salon in London.
Piers came in to get his hair snipped and the pair got chatting and sparked a friendship.
They met three years before 21-year-old Chloe landed the spot in The Only Way is Essex.
She told The Sun: "He asked where I was from and told me how he'd just met [former Towie star] Megan McKenna and that he found her really clever and business-savvy.
"He kept saying Essex girls aren't what they seem. He found us all very interesting and was intrigued about how entrepreneurial we all are."
Chloe added that she and Piers followed each other in Instagram and "months later" Piers told Chloe he's shared her page with Megan and told her she was "intelligent."
Three years later the pair bumped into each other again at the ITV Gala.
"He shouted my name and gave me a massive hug", said Chloe. People were looking at me - they must have been like 'what the f***.' "
The only way is up, as the theme tune goes, for Chloe who launched her own online clothing brand Miss Babe.
She is set to become a millionaire from the thriving business.
Chloe says that unlike reality queen Kim Kardashian, she wants to be a self-made millionaire without having grown up in a mansion with wealthy parents.
She revealed that her mum is a single parent and that she "came from nothing".
The 21-year-old admitted that when she first joined TOWIE she was buying clothes, keeping the tags on and then returning them.
She said that she's not ashamed that she didn't start the show with money.
She said that now she "loves her job" and "lives for it".
Whilst most people her age are fresh out of University or still living with their parents, Chloe is busy brushing shoulders with celebs and posing on red carpets.

Recently she's been showing off her softer side after breaking down in tears on Celebs Go Dating.
She was accused of being "rude" on a date by love gurus Paul Carrick-Brunson and Anna Williamson.
The process helped her to get over past relationships where she'd been hurt before, the star said.
