Piers Morgan has shared a letter from Boris Johnson in which he commends someone for not celebrating her birthday party, just as it's being reported that he celebrated his with a gathering during lockdown.
After weeks of damning allegations of Downing Street parties, fresh claims came to light on Monday, directly involving the Prime Minister when it was reported that he attended a party for his birthday during the first lockdown in 2020 despite the rules banning social gatherings indoors at the time.
It's alleged that the prime minister's wife, Carrie Johnson, helped organise a surprise get-together for him June 19 to celebrate his birthday.

Up to 30 people are said to have attended the gathering and not all of them Downing Street staff as interior designer Lulu Lyttle is also alleged to have been there.
Like many others, former Good Morning Britain host Piers was left fuming with the latest reports and quickly shared a letter sent from the PM in March 2020 to a lady called Josephine, telling her she was "setting an example," for everyone else by cancelling her birthday party.
He told her; "We are all doing out bit to protect the NHS and save lives and that is exactly what you are doing, so well done!"
Johnson shared the letter to his own Twitter account at the time, adding: "Josephine sets a great example to us all by postponing her birthday party until we have sent coronavirus packing. Together we can beat this. In the meantime let's all wish her happy birthday (twice) whilst washing our hands."
Sharing it on his timeline on Monday evening, Piers simply captioned it: "This," with an emoji pointing down.
Reacting to it, one of his many followers replied; "The hypocrisy is breathtaking," and another wrote: "Shameless!"
He followed it up with the damning tweet: "The party, party, party, party, party, party, party, party, party, party, party, party, party, party, party, party, party, party, party, party, party, party, party, party, party, party, party, party, party, party, party, party, party, party, party, party’s over, Prime Minister."
