Piers Morgan embarrasses Lorraine Kelly with naked photo during her 35th anniversary show

Piers Morgan shocked Lorraine Kelly with a nude photograph of herself during her 35th anniversary broadcast.

The Good Morning Britain presenter, 54, stepped into the host’s shoes for the start of her show this morning.

Morgan showed Kelly, 59, her highlights over the years – including her early stint as a reporter and columnist at the East Kilbride News.

During the programme, Morgan asked her: “What do you remember about your woman's weekly pages that you used to knock out?

“Do you remember saying this? 'It's now the latest craze sweeping Scotland. You can try out a special sunbed that toasts you a beautiful golden brown on both sides."

Kelly then asked: "Is this the sunbed picture?” as Morgan continued: “I know what you’re thinking viewers. Is there a picture of naked Lorraine Kelly on the sunbed? Oh, there is.”

To which she squealed: “No, please no! Oh no! That made it into the paper. Oh my god. That’s really scary."

Morgan added: “Just to clarify – it was an all over tan, right?” and Kelly responded: “Absolutely. Oh I had such fun there at the East Kilbride News. It’s a great way to start.”

Later on, Morgan asked her about her run-in with her former colleague Esther McVey.

Kelly responded with a curt reply after the broadcaster and Tory MP crossed paths on Good Morning Britain back in June.

Blaming Morgan for her reaction, she said: “It’s you, you bring out the naughtiness in me. And you knew that morning, I was really fed up with every single politician in the world – especially Britain.”

She later added: “She’s just as bad as all of them. When I watch you and I get so enraged by how we’re going round and round and round in circles and we’re not getting anywhere. We deserve better.”

Several celebrities took part in the show to wish Kelly well, including Gary Barlow, John Hannah, Martin Clunes and Michelle Heaton.
