Piers Morgan is back in the news after his coverage of the Queen's funeral. He couldn't help take a swipe at Meghan Markle shortly before she and other royals arrived at Westminster Abbey. Fans have slammed his comments as 'unbelievable'.
On Monday, September 19, the nation, as well as royals, heads of state, and dignitaries, turned out in force for the funeral of the late Queen Elizabeth II. Meghan travelled to Westminster Abbey by car with Sophie, Countess of Wessex, while Prince Harry walked behind the Queen's coffin.
Piers Morgan had been leading the coverage for US based Fox News from outside of Buckingham Palace, according to the Daily Star with the broadcaster having the perfect spot outside of the official royal residence. The broadcaster and journalist couldn't help but take a pop at the Duchess of Sussex describing her as a "lost cause".

Reflecting on Harry's upcoming memoir, which details his life story, Piers suggested it could be "very damaging" for his King Charles III. He added that he hoped Harry would "wake up" before taking a swipe at Meghan.
Piers said: "We've all been following this soap opera drama, the bottom line is that it's hard to ignore them. When you have this renegade Royal Family, trying to have their royal cake and eat it. But there have been some moments this week where you could have some sympathy with Prince Harry over his treatment as opposed to his disgraced uncle Prince Andrew."
After discussing Harry's memoirs, Piers continued: "I hope something wakes up inside of him, I hope he pops the book. She's [Meghan] probably a lost cause in this because she just wants to be rich and famous."
Royal enthusiasts with slammed Piers for the timing of his brutal swipe. Taking to Twitter, one social media user said: "Piers is like a lover scorned, he just won't let it go & it's becoming a creepy obsession". A second added: "Unbelievable on today of all days Piers want to take aim at Meghan. He seems to be suffering from a continued unhealthy obsessive disorder with Meghan."
Another added: "Give it rest and leave them alone you are so boring, so it’s time for you to keep quiet for once in your life nobody cares what you think or say." While a fourth penned: "Even on the Queen’s funeral he still has to have a go. It’s time to just shut up Piers we're bored with you spouting the same old twaddle." And fans of the Duchess were not taking this lying down as they praised her for remaining "composed and regal".
