One year on from his infamous exit from Good Morning Britain, Piers Morgan has announced he will be returning to prime time television with his own talk-show, Piers Morgan: Uncensored.
In a video posted to Twitter, Mr Morgan can be seen watching his GMB departure - when he walked off set after being criticised - before addressing the camera directly.
From behind his desk, he says: "A year ago today I was forced to leave a job I loved at the peak of its success for having the audacity to express an honestly held opinion.

"Well, this shouldn't happen in any democracy supposedly built on the principles of free speech and freedom of expression. So I'm delighted to now be returning to live television with a new prime time show whose main purpose will be to cancel the cancel culture which has infected societies around the world."
Piers went on to say: "I want it to be a platform for lively, vigorous debate, the news making interviews and that increasingly taboo three-letter word... fun. I also want it to annoy all the right people."
Closing the video, Piers announces: "I'm Piers Morgan – Uncensored."
Piers previously stormed off the set of GMB after a heated debate with weatherman Alex Beresford involving his previous relationship with Meghan Markle.
Today, on the anniversary of his departure, Piers shared a photo to his Instagram which read: "A year ago today, I went for a little stroll… and in the words of Edith Piaf, je ne regrette rien! #LongWalkToFreedomOfSpeech"
Piers Morgan: Uncensored does not have a release date yet.
