Piers Morgan appears to have rubbished rumours of a feud between him and Gary Lineker.
The pair have a long-running history of sassy spats, which stemmed from their football rivalry.
In recent years Piers, 56, has called out the dad-of-four, 61, over his salary, ratings and ears, but it seems as if the pair may be putting the past behind them.
Sharing a pic of Gary wearing a apron with Chef Gaz written on it, Piers told his followers the Leicester-born star was making him dinner.
Captioning the pic in which the controversial host grins holding a glass of red wine he wrote: "Decided to finally get my BBC licence fee money out of Gary Lineker at his home last night.. have to say, Chef Gaz delivered a quite delicious feast including Gambas al Ajillo and Fillet steak au poivre.
"Did everything himself (for 5 of us) and it was all perfectly cooked. Then he proudly showed off his golden boots, before the shock late Leicester result came through to ruin his evening. All in all, a most enjoyable soirée - and definitely worth 43p!"
Despite their 'bromance', Piers threw the usual shade in his post as he referenced the BBC's licence fee, which Gary has defended.
This week is was announced the broadcaster's license fee will be scrapped in 2027 and funding frozen.
Gary, 61 took to Twitter in defence of the institution saying: "Yes the BBC brings you the best in news, in sport, in drama, in music, in children's, in science, in history, in entertainment, in current affairs and Sir David bloody Attenborough….but apart from that what has the BBC ever done for us?"
Last month Piers took a screenshot of the ratings chart to boast how well his show was doing in comparison to Gary's new ITV offering Sitting On a Fortune.
Underneath the tweet he attached a picture of the evening's top-billed shows with their respective audience figures.
With an audience share of 14.3 per cent was Piers Morgan’s Life Stories, while Escape To The Chateau followed with 11.3 per cent.
Below that was Gary’s new ITV game show Sitting On a Fortune, which had a 10.2 per cent audience share.
However Gary, who Piers calls Jugs, clapped back replying: “Well, considering we were up against the absolute monsters of the Doctor Who finale and Strictly, we’re absolutely delighted with the numbers we’re getting.”
