Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has provided an update as to his current well-being,
The forward had been released from the Gabon squad during their Africa Cup of Nations campaign to undergo tests on his heart back at Arsenal.
Manager Mikel Arteta recently revealed the club weren’t given “any clarity” by the Gabon national set-up while stressing that the most important thing was the player’s health.
“He is in London and now he is going through some examinations, because we haven’t had any clarity from the Gabon national team about the reasons why he came back,” said the Gunners boss.
Taking to Instagram, Aubameyang posted a photo of himself in the gym to put supporters’ minds at ease.
“Hi guys, I came back to London to do some additional checks, and I’m very happy to say my heart is absolutely fine and I’m completely healthy,” it read.
“Really appreciate all the messages over the last few days and I’m already back at it!”
