Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang Gunners' return set as two Arsenal Premier League fixtures rescheduled

The Premier League has announced fixture rescheduling for two Arsenal fixtures in November as broadcasters pick their matches to televise.

The first fixture moved for the Gunners is the away fixture against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. It was initially scheduled for a 3pm GMT kick-off on Saturday 5 November, but this has now been switched to a 12pm kick-off on Sunday 6 November and can be viewed on BT Sport for UK viewers.

Meanwhile, Arsenal’s fixture against Wolves at the Molineux has been changed to a 7:45pm kick-off on Saturday 12 November and can be viewed on Sky Sports for UK viewers. The initial kick-off time was set at 3pm.

There will be an extra interest for Arsenal fans when Mikel Arteta goes up against Graham Potter’s Chelsea side for the first ever time. The main reason being is that former Arsenal captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will return to play against the Gunners for the first time since leaving the club on deadline day in January 2021.

The summer transfer window took a surprising turn for the Gunners when reports that Chelsea were pursuing Aubameyang's signature came to light. The surprise became a reality when Arsenal's London rivals announced the signing of Mikel Arteta's former skipper on transfer deadline day.

Arsenal will be hoping for a similar result at Stamford Bridge to last season when the Gunners came out 4-2 winners. Eddie Nketiah scored a brace, while Emile Smith Rowe and Bukayo Saka also got on the scoresheet on that evening.

The North London side also came out winners against Wolves at the Molineux last season, as Arteta’s side were able to hang on to a 1-0 win despite a Gabriel Martinelli red card.
