Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has fired another shrouded dig at Arsenal after he found the net once again for Barcelona mid-week. The Gabonese striker was on hand to find the back of the net in the Catalans’ Europa League tie against Galatasaray.
Coupled with Pedri’s first-half strike, it means that the Spanish giants booked their place in the quarter-finals, where they will face German outfit Eintracht Frankfurt after Friday’s draw. Aubameyang ’s record for the club now sits at seven goals in just ten games since his Arsena l departure - an excellent strike rate considering he had scored that amount for the Gunners throughout the entirety of the first-half of the season.
Following his goal, Aubameyang revealed how he had managed to find such top form, explaining that his happiness at the Camp Nou is a huge reason behind his positive run.

Speaking with Mundo Deportivo, the 32-year-old said: “What can I tell you? I am working a lot and I think that the most important thing is that I am happy.
“When you are happy, you have excitement for everything, to score goals, to help the team and to kill.”
Aubameyang of course drew his Arsenal career to a close in January after a successful four year spell at the Emirates Stadium. In 163 appearances for the Gunners, he scored 92 goals, guiding the club to the FA Cup in the process.
However, he was stripped of the Arsenal captaincy due to a disciplinary breach and never found favour with Mikel Arteta before his switch to the Nou Camp. The Gunners’ boss was staunch in his opinion of the decision to let the striker leave north London, believing that it was the right thing in the interest of his side.
Speaking last month, the Spaniard said: "I am grateful for what Auba has done at the club and his contribution since I have been here. The way I see myself in that relationship is the solution, not the problem.
"What I am saying is that I've been this solution, 100 per cent, I can look in the eye of anybody. I do lot of things wrong, for sure. But the intention all the time is the best - and not for me, it is for the club and for the team.
"I think it ended up in the best possible way for everybody. I think when things change, and the context changes and this is part of football.”
