Former Arsenal players Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Mesut Ozil were reunited on Sunday when the duo attended the Formula One Monaco Grand Prix.
Ozil was released on a free transfer in January 2021 as the Gunners looked to offload the German's extravagant wages, with Fenerbahce bringing him. Aubameyang followed him out of the door a year later after he was ousted from first-team activities for returning late from a trip to France.
Mikel Arteta has adapted impressively to the loss of the duo, however, with a sharp upturn in form coinciding with Aubameyang's initial punishment before Christmas. In January he had his contract cancelled and moved to Barcelona on a free transfer.

After completing his move, the 32-year-old took to Instagram to share a parting message, writing: "To the Arsenal fans, Thank you for making London home for myself and my family for the past four years. We went through ups and downs together and your support meant everything to me.
"Having the chance to win trophies and the honour of being the captain of this club is something I will forever keep in my heart. I have always been 100% focused and committed on doing everything I can for this club which is why leaving without a real goodbye hurts - but that is football.
"I’m sad I did not get the chance to help my teammates in the last few weeks, but I have nothing but respect for this club and truly wish all my guys and the fans all the best and many successful years in the future!"
With the season over and having helped Barcelona back into next term's Champions League, Aubameyang is taking some time to relax. This weekend saw him take in a different sport heading to Monaco for the Formula One Grand Prix and bumped into Ozil, sharing a short but cheery video with the German on his Instagram Story.
