Pierce Brosnan 'not sure' about No Time To Die as he throws shade at latest James Bond

Pierce Brosnan has thrown shade at the latest James Bond movie.

The former Bond himself, famous for playing the character in flicks such as Die Another Day and Goldeneye, says he wasn't a fan of No Time To Die.

Fronted by Daniel Craig, it was the actor's last Bond movie and as fans eagerly await his replacement, Pierce has made his opinion clear.

"Daniel always gives of his heart. Very courageous, very strong. But…," he brazenly admits in October's edition of British GQ magazine.

He didn't say any more, leaving the thought on a cliff-hanger, but he had just confessed to only recently watching Daniel's latest movie, as well as Skyfall.

"I saw the last [Bond film], and I saw Skyfall, I love Skyfall. I’m not too sure about the last one," he told the magazine.

He appears on the front cover of next month's issue, alongside his handsome sons Dylan and Paris.

One picture shows the trio sat close together in matching-colour outfits as the boys show off their long locks alongside their world-famous father.

Speaking of growing up alongside his fame as a former James Bond, son Dylan said: "I always thought he had a lot of friends, growing up, because people would come up to him in the street, and he’s like the nicest guy, so he talks to everyone for a really long time."

Pierce admits always advising his kids against careers in acting, saying it is "f**king hard work" and "a cross to bear".

"You’re constructing and destroying yourself," he confessed.

In the interview, he also opens up about a canvas that he created a year after his late wife Cassandra Harris got sick and he first began painting.

"My late wife was in her second year of ovarian cancer… Carrying the weight and pain and the fear of that illness," he added. "I took out the paints. And started painting. With my fingers. With my hands, actually."

Speaking of the new James Bond and who he thinks bosses will choose, Pierce added: "Who should do it? I don’t care, it’ll be interesting to see who they get, who the man shall be, whoever he be, I wish him well."

Further in the cover interview, Brosnan revealed that he and his son Paris sometimes go into their painting studio in the garage and paint together.

"He just devours these canvases," Pierce added. "It just fills me with the greatest pride, fatherly pride, to be painting alongside him, just to be quiet in the garage or wherever we’ve painted.

"It’s a really beautiful experience."
