Picture This star Jimmy Rainsford has surprised fans after he announced he got married during the summer.
The Co Kildare native has told how much he enjoyed the summer ahead of the band playing Electric Picnic this weekend.
Opening up about how his summer was, he captioned a series of pictures on his Instagram with the band travelling around Europe before including a picture of his new wife.
He wrote: “This summer has been the best summer of my life. It started in Nashville, TN, doing work on a new Picture This album.
“Then some travelling around Europe, finding new places we’ve never been to and we were always creating something, preparing for the biggest gigs of our lives.
“And then getting to play to all you beautiful people and doing more travelling but this time around Ireland and seeing really what an incredible country it is that we live in.
“And then another great moment of going to F1 at Silverstone with my dad.
“And then becoming the luckiest man in the world and marrying this incredible woman… starting an amazing new chapter…and my wife taking this photo after we got married.
“Being extremely lucky and experiencing amazing things with amazing people.”
He then shared a snap of his wife in the pool while the couple enjoyed their honeymoon together.
He added: “And now we get to finish this summer with our hometown festival. Here’s to the greatest summer ever. Let’s finish it with a bang and start a brand-new adventure.
“Picture This have some amazing things on the horizon. See you at the Picnic on Saturday.”
