Everton will hope to get their bid for Premier League survival back on track with a big performance against Manchester United on Saturday.
The Blues fell to a heart-breaking 3-2 defeat against Burnley on Wednesday to leave the club just a point above the relegation zone. However, Frank Lampard’s side will have the opportunity to respond quickly against United in the 12.30pm kick-off at Goodison Park.
Though the club have struggled on their travels all season, Lampard has recorded two league wins at home and will be hoping the crowd can lift his team’s spirits. The Everton boss will also welcome both Allan and Michael Keane back from suspension and have a further two players back in contention.
“We’ve got Seamus Coleman – who on Wednesday night was feeling the effects of not being well and wasn’t fit to play – in consideration, so that’s a nice boost for the game tomorrow,” Lampard said in his Friday press conference. “Fabian Delph is in the squad and is fit and available. Yerry Mina we hope will be fit for Leicester (on April 20).”
