The Strictly Come Dancing professional dancers have become stars in their own right over the years as they help Britain’s biggest celebrities get their hands on the coveted Glitterball trophy.
From images of them in their early competitions to posing in adorable tutus, these pros definitely knew that dancing was in their stars.
While some of the pros looked like seasoned dancers from their teens, others looked like they hoped to grow into their ballet slippers.
We take a closer look at what today's Strictly pro stars looked like as children in this throwback gallery...
Dianne Buswell
Australian dancer Dianne Buswell looks like she caught the dancing bug at an early age as she posed for this photograph in her pink shimmery top and little red leggings.
The pro-dancer-in-the-making even has her arms artfully positioned in a dance move, as she glares confidently in to the camera.
Nadiya Bychkova
Nadiya honed her dancing skills in the USSR, where she learned to perfect those high kicks and graceful moves she is known for.
In this picture, the stunning Ukrainian is seen lifting a leg high in the air as she dances for a competition in her home town.
Kevin Clifton
Kevin Clifton grew up to be a professional ballroom and latin dancer, and has been dancing since he was a child.
He is the son of former World Champions Keith and Judy Clifton, and his sister Joanne is also a Strictly pro dancer.
The siblings competed nationally and internationally as partners when they were children.
In later years, Kevin chose Latin dance as his primary style so as not to ever be in direct competition with his sister.
AJ Pritchard
AJ began dancing at the age of 12, and at just 24 years old, he is the youngest Strictly pro.
When he started out, his parents partnered him with Chloe Hewitt from their dance school.
Together, the pair have represented Britain in dance competitions around the world, and won the National Youth Latin Championships for three consecutive years between 2012 and 2014.
Janette Manrara
American dancer Janette has had the dancing bug since childhood.
She began performing in musical theatre at age 12, and started her formal dance training at 19, studying ballroom, ballet, pointe, jazz and hip-hop.
Janette is of Cuban heritage and began her career as a salsa dancer.
Giovanni Pernice
Giovanni has been dancing since the age of 14, and specialises in Latin style.
The 28-year-old from Sicily is best known as the Italian Open Latin Dance Champion in 2012 and holds the Guinness World Record for Jive kicks and flicks.
He holds a separate Guinness record for Charleston swivels.
