PHOTOS: New-look Lakers take down the Warriors

Despite quiet nights offensively from Lakers superstars LeBron James and Anthony Davis, Los Angeles’ revamped bench led the way as the Lakers earned a key win over the Golden State Warriors, 124-111.

James and Davis combined for 25 points, but the Lakers’ reserves scored 68 points off the bench. Austin Reaves went a perfect 6-for-6 from the floor, but it was newcomer Malik Beasley who stole the show, hitting seven 3-pointers to score 25 points in just 26 minutes of action.

Lakers guard D’Angelo Russell left the game with an ankle injury, but he said afterward that he wasn’t concerned about his condition.

The win moved the Lakers to 28-32 for the season, just a game and a half behind the Warriors in the tight race for the final play-in position.
